Casa Mareva | Brand-New Luxury Home Just Steps from the Beach in Playa Grande

Just a three-minute walk from Playa Grande Beach, Casa Mareva brings contemporary architecture into the natural rhythm of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Newly completed and designed by Dos Mareas Studio, this four-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence offers 305 m² (3,282.98 sq. ft.) of living area on a generous 1,058.84 m² (11,397.21 sq. ft.) lot, listed at $1,300,000.

The architecture pairs clean lines with warm natural wood, creating a home that feels considered without losing its connection to the tropics. Inside, the kitchen, dining, and living areas unfold in an open layout beneath high ceilings. Expansive glass openings draw daylight into the interiors and extend the view toward the covered terrace, making the transition between indoor comfort and outdoor living feel effortless. Marble and granite countertops add texture to the kitchen, while its connection to the main living spaces makes it a natural gathering point.

The bedroom layout balances privacy and flexibility, with a spacious primary suite, additional guest accommodations, and a dedicated bunk room. Contemporary furnishings complement the natural finishes and architectural character. A guest powder room, indoor laundry, storage, and garage bring practical convenience to the design.

Beyond the glass, the covered terrace opens toward a private in-ground pool, with a dedicated BBQ area and outdoor lounge spaces for long lunches, relaxed afternoons, and evenings spent outside. Tropical landscaping frames the property with greenery and a sense of privacy, giving the outdoor spaces their own quiet atmosphere.

Playa Grande’s renowned surf and beach lifestyle are close enough to become part of the everyday routine. Tamarindo is also within reach for restaurants, shopping, and essential services, offering a balance of coastal seclusion and convenience.

With its thoughtful contemporary design, natural materials, private pool, and exceptional walkable access to the beach, Casa Mareva offers a distinctive expression of modern coastal living in Playa Grande.
