Reserva Conchal is a 2,300-acre gated beach and golf community on Playa Conchal, just south of Brasilito and Playa Flamingo. It began with its beachfront hotel and golf course in the 1990s, completed its first residential neighborhood in 2002, and has grown into one of the most established communities on the coast, with neighborhoods of homes, villas, and condominiums and a large share of full-time residents.
Within the gate sit a Robert Trent Jones II championship golf course, a 60,000-square-foot beach club on Playa Conchal, two Marriott resorts, the W Costa Rica and the all-inclusive Westin Reserva Conchal, a private wildlife reserve, and trails through tropical dry forest.
Reserva Conchal gives owners a complete resort around a private home, on one of the most distinctive beaches in Costa Rica. Playa Conchal’s sand is made of crushed shells, and its calm, clear water suits swimming and snorkeling steps from the beach club. Golf, dining, spa, and children’s activities are a short golf-cart ride from the front door, and the community’s maturity shows in established landscaping, maintained roads, and settled neighborhoods. Flamingo’s marina, shops, and schools are minutes away. Buyers here want resort amenities and security in a proven community, whether for full-time living, a family second home, or a property that rents well when they are away.

Each neighborhood has its own HOA fees and rules alongside the community-wide association, and beach club, golf, and rental arrangements follow their own terms. Reserva Conchal is about an hour from Liberia International Airport (LIR). Brasilito sits at its northern edge, Playa Flamingo and Marina Flamingo are about 10 minutes away, and Tamarindo is roughly 35 to 40 minutes south.
